LDCs and developing nations, including staff at Geneva missions
What will you gain?
Critical insights into the complex governance of environmental affairs, looking at the intersection of four main domains: Water, Food, Climate Change and Energy
A strategic vision and an understanding of the multilateral processes at stake through collaboration and exchanges with experts, practitioners from policy, science and academia
Concrete project outcome through individual coaching as you apply knowledge and skills acquired to your final assessment consisting in a policy paper or an advocacy paper.
An academic credential:Executive Certificate of Advanced Studies (15 ECTS)
Who should apply to the programme?
Mid- to senior professionals from all sectors willing to get a 360⁰ view of the environmental debate and to take the lead in proposing proactive response to environmental challenges.
Who can apply for the scholarship?
Civil servants from LDCs and developing countries. This includes Geneva-based diplomats and other staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as staff of other ministries and government agencies.
Scholarships will be attributed on a competitive basis. Online applications for the programme and the scholarship should be submitted no later than 15 December 2016. Participants awarded the scholarship will benefit from a 50% reduction in tuition fees - from CHF 9'600 to CHF 4'800.
